 When I first started
using cloth diapers on my son, first child,
in 2000, I thought any cloth diapering
system would work well so I chose the lowest
cost system I could find. I was skeptical
of all the available choices and what I
thought of as over priced products. My
son was diapered in what I now consider
very low quality cloth diapers and covers
available at discount stores. I thought
daily leaks were just a part of cloth diapering.
Little did I know that with just a little
more money invested, I could have a superior
diapering system without leaks. As I met
more women who used cloth diapers, a whole
new world of cloth diapers was opened. I
was surprised at the ease, convenience and
durability of the products, which I now sell
through Diapers and Wipers. My girlfriends
and I have used a lot of different products
and have shared our disappointments and successes.
When I switched from the low price products
to a quality diaper and cover system it made
an amazing difference – no more leaks,
less changing of clothes and sheets, and
a happier baby. I am convinced that if you
spend a little time researching the benefits
and available options of cloth and spend
a little money up front for a quality system,
you will be a satisfied cloth diaper user
too!
The number of toxic chemicals in disposable
diapers and the huge number of disposable
diapers in our landfills continue to shock
me. I knew before I had my first child that
I wanted a safer environmentally friendly
option. Cloth diapering has been a joy for
my children, my husband and me. Even starting
out with an inferior system, we enjoyed the
many benefits of cloth. And now that we are
using top quality diapers and covers, both
our children have been leak free and extremely
comfortable!

International Breastfeeding Symbol
Diapers and Wipers is committed to supporting breastfeeding  families and providing breastfeeding friendly facilities for nursing mothers. How can an internet-based business provide breastfeeding friendly facilities? I participate in a number of local events throughout the year. At those events I will provide a friendly place for moms to breastfeed their children with a comfortable chair in a shaded area and free water.
The purpose of an international symbol for breastfeeding is to increase public awareness of breastfeeding, to provide an alternative to the use of a baby bottle image to designate baby friendly areas in public, and to mark breastfeeding friendly facilities.
Of course, breastfeeding does not require a special place and is appropriate—as the Canadian government's slogan says—"anytime, anywhere." The purpose of the symbol is not to segregate breastfeeding, but to help integrate it into society by better accommodating it in public.
